Build smart and sustainable solutions.

Mechatronics is the most wide-ranging of the engineering discipline and is applicable to industry, government, environment and society. The manufacturing industry plays a prominent role in Penang’s economy. For this industry to continue to flourish there is a need for more qualified and trained manpower to support automation to ensure the smooth running of the industry.

Mechatronics is considered ‘modern mechanical engineering ‘, that it integrates mechanical system with electrical & electronic for better feedback and control into a complete system.

In industry 4.0, machines are and robots are connected for better operations, productivity, reliability maintainability; supported by smart systems. Mechatronics is the discipline that contributes to industrial automation.
