The UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College Industry Adjunct Speaker Series attracted 76 students to a session held on 2 March with Ms Abrina Kreeti Pillay, Marketing Executive from gradmalaysia, exploring “Unlocking the Potential of LinkedIn”.

Ms Abrina provided practical, step-by-step guidance on building a compelling LinkedIn profile, highlighting how students can effectively showcase their achievements, articulate work experience, and present their skills with impact. She also demonstrated how to make full use of key platform features such as recommendations, certifications, and project showcases to strengthen professional credibility.

Students were further reminded that a strong digital presence is now an essential part of career readiness, as recruiters increasingly review online profiles and activities during the hiring process to identify potential talent.

The session empowered students to take ownership of their digital identity and equipped them with the tools and confidence to stand out in today’s highly competitive job market.
