On 1 April 2025, the Atrium at the Glenmarie Campus of UOW Malaysia was transformed into a vibrant marketplace for the Health & Green Business Days. The event attracted a strong turnout of 126 attendees, bringing together staff, students as well as members of the public. It was officiated by Mr Gabriel Lau Chi Wen, Principal of UOW Malaysia KDU College. Throughout the day, student-led booths showcased a range of eco-friendly products and health-focused services, from fresh floral arrangements to wellness initiatives. The lively atmosphere reflected the University’s commitment to experiential learning and sustainable living, while encouraging participants to incorporate ‘green’ thinking into contemporary business practices.
Beyond its commercial dimension, the event also served as a collaborative learning platform, where students engaged in real-time problem-solving and customer interaction. By managing their own booths, participants gained valuable insights into inventory management and sustainable sourcing, effectively bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application. The success of the event highlighted a growing interest in ethical entrepreneurship among students, leaving a positive and lasting impression on all who attended.
