On 11th March 2023, ‘Let’s Go Hiking’ was held by the All-Star Sports Club (ASSC) to give a fruitful opportunity to all the students to make friends and have physical exercise at the same time. It was also held to improve the relationship between club members and participants and, most importantly, reduce the anxiety and depression of those who have been going through their hardship on assignment.

On the day of the ‘Let’s Go Hiking’ event, participants arrived at around 7:00 am to 7:30 am at the Cafeteria. The BODs took attendance at the registration booth. Indemnity forms were also distributed to all participants to ensure they were aware of the dangers and risks involved in the activity. In the meantime, some light foods and beverages were also distributed to the participants.

At 7:45 am, the participants exited the school bus and departed to the venue (Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing) from UOW Malaysia, Glenmarie Campus. Before the departure, the BODs did a headcount to ensure all the participants were on the bus safely. At 8:30 am, the participants arrived at the destination and gathered in front of the entrance. The Vice President gave a short briefing to all the participants to ensure they were aware of the safety matters and the journey of the Hiking area.

At 8:45 am, the participants began their hiking journey until the end of the spot. The participants had multiple rests stops during the trip, and the headcount was taken occasionally. At noon, the participants reached Taman Rimba, the final stop, and rested there. The participants could dip their feet in the stream and have some snacks they had brought. Group photos were also taken. At 1:30 pm, the bus arrived, and all participants arrived safely at UOW Malaysia, Glenmarie Campus. The event ended successfully.
