UOW Malaysia proudly celebrates the literary contribution of YBhg. Dato’ Mohammad Medan Abdullah (Maya Green), Chair of the Board of Governors (BOG), whose authored works were formally donated to the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) on 15 July 2026.

The two titles — Poems from the Jungle Boy, a collection inspired by childhood memories and Malaysia’s tropical landscapes that explores gratitude, family values, and humanity’s bond with nature, and Nature’s Whispers: Wisdom from the Wild, a reflective anthology that uncovers life lessons and calls for environmental awareness through the beauty of forests, rivers, and wildlife — together highlight Dato’ Medan’s deep passion for nature and sustainability.

This donation enriches the collection at MATRADE’s Business Information Centre (BIC), offering members of MATRADE and the wider trading community access to literary works that inspire creativity, reflection, and sustainable values. Both books are now available in the BIC Special Collection Room for reference and reading.
