30 law students and staff from UOW Malaysia devoted their time in the Waves of Change event, an event dedicated to environmental conservation and community engagement. The event took place at Pantai Remis, Kuala Selangor on 29 July 2024. The volunteers combed the beach cleaning it of litter that had tarnished the coastline. Their collective efforts not only rejuvenated Pantai Remis but also fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and shared responsibility.

Following the cleanup, the event transitioned to a relaxed picnic potluck. Participants contributed a variety of homemade dishes, creating a vibrant and delicious spread. This informal setting allowed attendees to bond, share their experiences, and celebrate the day’s accomplishments.

The success of Waves of Change is a testament to the dedication and enthusiasm of all involved. By combining meaningful environmental action with community interaction, the event was both impactful and enjoyable.
