UOW Malaysia recently hosted a remarkable event with Mr. John Green, Chair of UOW Global Enterprise, along with esteemed guests Ms. Marisa Mastroianni, Group CEO and Managing Director of UOW Global Enterprises, and Ms. Jennifer Ng, CEO Asia. The event brought together a diverse group of students from countries such as Japan, Korea, Zimbabwe, and Malaysia, creating an enriching experience for all.

The focal point of the occasion was the exploration of Chinese culture’s rich heritage through the art of calligraphy. The event began with a captivating demonstration by Hieww Gigg, President of the Chinese Cultural Society, who shared insights into the elegance and symbolism of Chinese calligraphy. Under the guidance of calligraphy expert Ms. Chin, students engaged in a hands-on learning experience, mastering the art form’s strokes and characters.

In addition, the event also provided a platform for cultural exchange and connections. Jordan, the President of the Student Council, facilitated an interactive session that encouraged students to connect with the esteemed guests and each other.
