A thrilling culinary competition unfolded recently as students from 19 secondary schools put their cooking skills to the test. The Power Chef 2024 event, held on 27 July 2024 at the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts (SHTCA), UOW Malaysia, saw 47 teams of two students each engage in a series of challenging culinary tasks.

The day kicked off with an ice-breaking session and team briefing, followed by a series of station games designed to test the participants’ culinary prowess. From whipping up perfect omelette, hashbrowns, mayonnaise to creating mouthwatering mocktails and napkin folding, students were pushed to their limits.
