At Glenmarie, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Hiew Pang Leang opened the session with a welcome speech, followed by academic updates from Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr Hon Wei Min and administrative highlights from Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Mr Shanker Sathivellu. The UOWM CEO/UOWGE CEO Asia, Ms Jennifer Ng Glok-Hon, then took the stage to reflect on key achievements from 2024 and outline strategic priorities for 2025. The event saw strong participation, with 183 attendees joining physically at the Glenmarie Campus, and a further 68 and 34 tuning in online from the George Town and Batu Kawan campuses, respectively. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, allowing attendees to voice their thoughts and questions, before the UOWMKDU Penang Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Chong Beng Keok, wrapped up the gathering with her closing remarks. The event emphasised transparency, collaboration, and shared purpose as UOWM charts its path forward.
