On 28 March 2025, the senior management of UOW Malaysia (UOWM) hosted a lunch for Ms Joanna Wilson, Director of the Multilateral and Qualifications Recognition Team, Department of Education, Australia. She was accompanied by Ms Sophie Horgan, Counsellor (Education & Research), Ms Sophia Ngiaw, Senior Education Policy Manager and Ms Suraya Newell from the Australian High Commission in Malaysia. The meeting provided an opportunity for informal engagement and relationship-building, with discussions focusing on qualification recognition, future collaboration initiatives, and student mobility. The event was successful in fostering goodwill and reinforcing the collaborative relationship between UOW Malaysia and the Department of Education, Australia.
