On 5 & 6 March 2025, UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College hosted its annual Internship and Career Fair, bringing together 44 top-tier multinational and local companies across its Georgetown and Batu Kawan campuses. Led by Ms Anna Lim from the Career & Placement Centre, the event served as a launchpad for students and alumni to connect with HR professionals, hiring managers, and talent acquisition leaders from various industries including tech, finance, engineering, hospitality, design, and more.

Over two days, participants seized opportunities to network, submit applications, and attend on-the-spot interviews. The fair also featured seven career talks that delivered insider perspectives on industry trends, evolving job roles, and sought-after skills—preparing students for the realities of the modern workplace.

The event underscored the university’s commitment to bridging academia with industry, empowering students with the tools, confidence, and connections needed to thrive in their careers.

Company participants included renowned names such as Intel, EY, Deloitte, HP, IKEA, ViTrox, Jabil, Micron, JobStreet, Public Bank and many more.
