We’re pleased to share the launch of the Australia Awards – Malaysia Semester Program (AA-MSP), a scholarship initiative that enables eligible students from participating institutions, including University of Wollongong Malaysia, to undertake one or two semesters of study in Australia.

Launched on 4 August 2026 by Australian High Commissioner Her Excellency Danielle Heinecke and Australia’s Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs and Assistant Minister for International Education, the Honourable Julian Hill MP, the program is designed to make international education more accessible by providing financial support for international travel, accommodation, living expenses, university administration, and more.

As a participating institution, University of Wollongong Malaysia is proud to offer students the opportunity to gain international experience, broaden their perspectives, and build valuable global connections through this initiative.
