Five teams from UOW Malaysia KDU were successful in their bid for funding for 5 research projects from the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) offered by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, amounting to a total of RM470,841.00. The FRGS is a national grant scheme funded by the Malaysian government, attracting stiff competition every year from public and private universities in Malaysia. The UOW Malaysia KDU teams submitted a total of 13 research proposals in May this year and 5 of the proposals were successful. UOW Malaysia KDU would like to congratulate all the grant recipients as well as acknowledge all other applicants for their attempts to secure this competitive grant. The recipients of the FRGS Grant are as below:
