UOW Malaysia has been acknowledged as one of the Employers’ Preferred Universities in the National Graduate Employability Index (3rd Edition) 2023!

Talentbank has recently conducted an extensive survey in collaboration with top employers to identify their preferred choices for graduate recruitment. The survey aimed to assess the employability rate of graduates from universities across the nation and gathered responses from renowned companies such as AirAsia, Coca-Cola, Deloitte Consulting, FWD Takaful, Genting, Gamuda, GSC, Hong Leong Bank, Huawei, HP, Keysight, KPMG, Malaysia Aviation Group, Micron, Mondelez, Nestle, Nippon Paint, P&G, Petronas, POS Malaysia, PwC, SLB, Siemens, TDCX, Telekom, Top Glove, Unilever, as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups. The survey aimed to provide comprehensive insights into the preferences and perspectives of top employers on the employability of graduates from various universities, making it a valuable source of information for understanding the job market trends and expectations of employers in the nation.

In view of this, UOW Malaysia has been awarded the following employability ratings, in the respective fields of study:

The Talentbank’s National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index), a benchmark used to evaluate the employability of graduates from higher education institutions in Malaysia, employs a quantitative research methodology. It relies on feedback provided by employers, capturing insights on various aspects of graduate employability. The GE Index research provides valuable information on employers’ preferences for universities, the number of graduates hired from these universities, and their intentions to continue hiring from their preferred choices in the future.
