UOWGE has appointed a consultant, Ms Eva Lagrange to review UOW Malaysia’s (UOWM) marketing and student enrolment processes.

Eva is a marketing and digital expert with deep experience in transformation projects, ensuring businesses move from strategy to execution with a customer-first approach. She focuses on connecting teams and processes to create a seamless, unified customer experience, fostering collaboration across departments. With a background spanning multiple industries, her expertise is highly adaptable, bringing fresh perspectives and proven strategies to drive impact. With a hands-on, collaborative mindset, she drives impact by aligning vision with action

Eva’s mandate is to:

• Strengthen UOWM’s marketing approach to drive growth
• Accelerate student enrolment with an effective sales driven approach
• Improve marketing efficiency by optimizing tools and processes

The goal is to help UOWM with the right strategies and capabilities to thrive in our market while staying aligned with UOWGE. Eva has adopted a collaborative approach in working with all of us to optimize our resources to achieve the desired goal. She will be working in 3 phases from February to July as follows:

Phase 1: Analysis – laying the groundwork through global onboarding, market assessment and strategic analysis to align UOWM’s marketing and enrolment with growth opportunities.

Phase 2: Strategy & Solutions – building a scalable and execution-ready model to drive growth and long-term success

Phase 3: Execution and Empowerment – Activating the strategy, optimizing operations and equipping the team for long-term success.

Eva commenced her consultancy in mid-February with virtual meetings with selected Senior Management and marketing staff prior to her arrival at the Glenmarie campus from 24 to 28 February 2025. During this time, she completed 35 meetings/workshops and met with 70 staff and students. Upon concluding the first phase of her consultancy she presented the UOWM team with her initial findings and a framework for a further deep dive into systems, processes and people. The process for transformation of our marketing and enrolment will be gradual and incremental and with Eva’s expertise, we hope to achieve our ultimate goal i.e. growth in student enrolment.
