Assoc. Prof. Dr Eddy Yap, CA(M), ASEAN CPA, FCCA, CIA, CMIIA, FMIM, is a Management Consultant, Accredited Trainer, and Practice Academic who founded a professional consulting firm and is engaged in the diagnosis of organisational health, formulation of solutions, and implementation of improvements for both public and private sectors.

He is a speaker, trainer, and technical writer for regulatory and professional bodies with core competencies in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC), strategic planning, financial management, operational improvements, leadership, business communications, behavioural and cognitive science. As an academic, he supervises and assesses PhD and MBA candidates and delivers lectures relating to finance, accounting, and economics.

He is also a keen observer and researcher in the broader business and financial markets, well-published in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and provides thought leadership in the professional and corporate circles through conference chairing, keynote speaking, and panel discussions.

He strongly believes in the synergistic enhancement of the industry – professional – academia ecosystem.
