Dr Ngu Sie Bing joined UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College in January 2019 as a lecturer in the School of Business. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) in Malaysia. She has more than 16 years of teaching experience prior to joining UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College.  In addition, she has also 6 years of experience in providing audit and tax advisory services to clients in a wide range of industries.

Dr Ngu holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and a Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from Universiti Sains Malaysia.  Her research focused on the extent of materiality disclosure in sustainability reporting of the largest companies listed on Bursa Malaysia.

She has published a number of international peer-reviewed journals and conference papers in the areas of corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and sustainability reporting. She is also invited to serve as a reviewer for international journals in the areas of Accounting, Finance, and Taxation.
