Dr Nishata is a highly motivated and passionate lecturer in School of Engineering, UOW Malaysia KDU University College, Glenmarie Campus. She obtained her (BEng) in Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in the year 2009. She later pursued her MSc in Mechanical and Materials Engineering in nanocomposite material for PEMFC applications in the same university.

She then gained some teaching and research experiences in UCSI University before furthering her doctorate studies at UKM in year 2014 and graduated in 2018. She is a research-driven academician where it inligns with her self-identity to keep challenging herself and exploring new materials. She has so far published in many high impact indexed journals and conferences proceedings. She is awarded Professional Technologist by MBOT in 2021.

She is registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) And Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). Also she is currently in process to start her industrial attachment to obtained her Professional Engineering certification. Her research expertise is in Natural fibre composites, Rice-husk technology, Polymer Composite Foams, Nanocomposites (MWCNT & Thermoset in CPC applications) and currently actively venturing into Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) research.
