Leong Mi-Chelle is a senior lecturer at UOW Malaysia KDU. She has a Master of Arts in Linguistics and English Language Studies, and Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT). She designs courses and provides training to teachers. Her research interests are educational technologies and English language teaching.

She is very passionate about learning and has a strong advocate of lifelong learning. As such, she’s still learning and expanding her knowledge and skills in conducting research. Currently, Leong Mi-Chelle’s research interest is in educational technologies, especially in teaching the English language, gamification, and active learning strategies. Her experience in teaching and learning so far serves as a strong foundation for her to explore further into using technology to help students learn better so that they can achieve their learning outcomes more successfully. Therefore, her future research plans are focused on blended learning and the use of applications to enhance students’ learning experience.
