Nursing is at the heart of patient care, and skilled nurses are in high demand worldwide. From birth to end-of-life, nurses support people through every stage of life. They monitor health, provide treatment, offer emotional support, and work alongside doctors and other professionals to deliver the best outcomes.

It combines classroom learning, lab work, and extensive clinical placements through its nursing courses to build a strong foundation in both theory and practice. COLLEGE HISTORY

  • 1995 – Established as a pioneer nursing college and in operation as SJMC Nursing College.
  • 2007 – Registered with the Ministry of Higher Education as a private higher education provider under the name of Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College.
  • 2009 – Began operations and grew to 1100 students, offering 18 programs.
  • 2021 – UOW Global Enterprise acquired Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College.
  • 2022 – Relocated to the UOW Malaysia, Glenmarie campus and renamed as UOW Malaysia College (formerly known as KDU University College), and became part of the UOW global network of campuses offering quality healthcare education.

Can I study nursing right after SPM?

Yes, as long as you satisfy the following entry requirement:

  • At least 3 credits, including in Bahasa Melayu, Mathematics, and one (1) Science subject (Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science)
  • Pass in two (2) other subjects including English.

Is the Diploma in Nursing program recognised in Malaysia?

Yes, this program is fully accredited by the Malaysian Nursing Board and MOHE.

What are the job prospects after graduating?

You can either work as a staff nurse, nurse researcher, nurse risk manager, or healthcare product specialist. Our graduates are highly employable both locally and internationally.

Can I immediately start working after this diploma?
