Stimulating Independence and Creativity.

The move from secondary school to university is more than a step forward — it’s a shift in how you think, learn, and engage with the world.

The Foundation Studies program is designed to make that transition seamless. Over one focused year, you’ll move beyond textbook learning into a more dynamic, university-style experience that prepares you not just to enter a degree — but to succeed in it.

At our UOW Malaysia Glenmarie, Selangor campus, learning goes beyond the traditional chalk-and-board approach. You’ll be immersed in an environment that encourages questioning, experimentation, and collaboration — developing the critical, creative, and logical thinking skills essential for undergraduate study.

Whether you are drawn to the structure of code or the possibilities of digital creativity, this program provides the space to explore, build, and grow with confidence.

Choose your path

  • Technology Stream (Computing & Games Technology)
Build a strong foundation in computational thinking and logical problem-solving. You’ll develop the analytical mindset required to progress into programming, software development, and game technology with clarity and confidence.
  • Art & Media Stream (Game Art, Design, Digital Media & Communication)
Discover the power of ideas through visual storytelling and design. You’ll explore creativity in a structured way — learning to translate concepts into compelling digital experiences.

  • Where Creativity Meets Logic
As the boundaries between art and technology continue to blur, you’ll develop both technical understanding and creative confidence to navigate both worlds.
  • Ready for What’s Next
By the time you progress to your bachelor’s degree, you’ll bring more than foundational knowledge — you’ll have the mindset, discipline, and skills to thrive in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Game Development, Digital Media, and Communication.
