Aidora is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing and Creative Media, UOW Malaysia. She has over 15 years of teaching experience in computer science and information technology.

She completed her Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM); followed by an MSc Information Technology in Business degree from the University of Lincoln, UK. She has a keen interest in the areas of gamification for cybersecurity education, advanced education techniques for experiential learning, cyber forensics, and IoT-based applications.

Aidora is actively involved in national-level external committees. In 2023, she was appointed by HRD Corporation (Ministry of Human Resources), as one of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the enhancement of the Industrial Skills Framework (IndSF) document (Cybersecurity). She is also a National Standards Committee Member under the Department of Standards, Malaysia (MITI) for two technical committees – Biometrics, and Information Security, Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection. Aidora is also a certified Professional Technologist, from Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). Aidora also holds both the CEH and CHFI certifications; two internationally recognised credentials in cyber security, and is also a trainer under UOW’s CISCO Training Academy.

She is also the 2021 (highly commended) and 2018 (winner) recipient of the Teaching Award at UOW Malaysia and has shared her various teaching and learning practices in both internal and external teaching and learning symposiums and conferences.
