Aidora is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing and Creative Media, UOW Malaysia, with more than 20 years of teaching experience in the fields of Computer Science and Information Technology. She obtained her Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia and later completed her Master of Science in Information Technology in Business at University of Lincoln, United Kingdom.

Her research and professional interests include gamification in cybersecurity education, artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, experiential learning approaches in higher education, cyber forensics, and IoT-based applications.

Aidora is actively involved in several national-level professional and technical committees. In 2023, she was appointed by HRD Corporation under the Ministry of Human Resources as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the enhancement of the Industrial Skills Framework (IndSF) document in Cybersecurity. She also serves as a National Standards Committee Member under Department of Standards Malaysia, contributing to technical committees related to Biometrics, as well as Information Security, Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection.

In addition, Aidora has extensive experience as both an internal and external speaker, delivering sessions on gamification and the application of AI in teaching and learning for institutions and organisations including Hong Kong Metropolitan University, International Islamic University Malaysia, and Game Development Council of Malaysia. She is also a certified Professional Technologist under Malaysia Board of Technologists and serves as a trainer for the Cisco Networking Academy at UOW Malaysia.

Her contributions to teaching excellence have been recognised through the UOW Malaysia Teaching Awards, where she received the Winner Award in 2018 and the Highly Commended Award in 2021. She has also actively shared her innovative teaching and learning practices at both internal and external symposiums and conferences.
