Student Entrepreneurship Initiatives Program (SEIP) 

The Student Entrepreneurship Initiatives Program (SEIP) is a UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College initiated programme to nurture the culture of having an entrepreneurial mindset among students that enroll into any UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College academic program.

SEIP promotes student-initiated business start-ups before they graduate. The start-up will operate at UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College and managed entirely by the students with the help of the centre for research and innovation (CRI). SEIP targets students that are interested in:

Starting a business.
Learning about entrepreneurship through various workshop offered.
Integrating entrepreneurial knowledge to develop their business.
Writing a business plan.
Pitching for funding opportunities.

SEIP Program offers opportunities to get exposure, acquire skills and gain real-world experience in starting a business. We offer multidisciplinary hackathons and pitch-a-thons, mentoring from industry experts, start-up seed funding, competitions, accelerators, internships, and events.
