Professor Dr. Grace McCarthy Email: [email protected] Having worked for many years in industry, including as European Director of Customer Service of a multinational manufacturing company, Dr Grace McCarthy enjoys blending real-life experience with academic rigour in teaching and research. She has a particular interest in responsible leadership. Grace completed her PhD on leadership at UMIST (Manchester) and also completed projects on innovation in SMEs in UK, Spain and Norway. Grace is a UOW accredited Peer Reviewer of Teaching and is particularly interested in challenging and interactive learning sessions, learning from her students, and authentic assessments. Dr Grace McCarthy is Dean of Business in the Faculty of Business and Law, leading a team of academics in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Supply Chain and Analytics. She has received a number of awards including an Australian Government citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, and UOW Vice Chancellor’s awards for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning, for Excellence in Research Supervision and for Global Strategy.
