Dr. Kamini has joined UOW Malaysia (Penang campus) as a senior lecturer. Her expertise in law and business subjects, coupled with her impressive academic background, makes her a valuable addition to our faculty.

She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) Hons (University of London, UK), Bachelor of Management (BA Hons) in International Management (Nilai University-Oxford Brookes), Master of Law in International Trade and Commercial Law (Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK) and Doctor of Philosophy (UKM) specializing on pharmaceutical patent laws.

She brings over with her of more than 15 years of teaching & learning experiences. In 2011, Dr Kamini won the Best Teaching Award from School of Law University Utara Malaysia (UUM) for her teaching excellence. Dr Kamini research interests are in company laws on breach of director duties, patent laws pertaining to pharmaceutical drugs, equity and trusts, business laws and jurisprudence.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Kamini has authored 4 books (chapters in the book) and several journals specializing on patent law, company law, cyber law and child law. Dr Kamini is a registered HRDF trainer and is entitled to conduct training in industrial relations matter. During her spare time, Dr Kamini loves to read books and doing journaling works.
