Dr. Goh Thing Thing is an accomplished academic leader and researcher with over two decades of experience in engineering education and software systems. She currently serves as the Academic Department Head for the School of Engineering at UOW Malaysia, where she leads the department toward academic excellence and provides strategic guidance to her staff. A Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, Dr. Goh specializes in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Microcontroller applications, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Her research focuses on enabling machines to understand and process human language through semantic and syntactic approaches to question classification. By automating information extraction and categorization, she aims to develop intelligent systems that enhance educational assessment and sustainable technology. As a core member of the Internet of Things (IoT) research cluster, Dr. Goh remains dedicated to bridging the gap between theoretical engineering and industrial application.
