Mr. Saravanan Raman is currently a Lecturer in the School of Business at UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College. Prior to this position, he worked as a Marketing Development Manager at Prai Malaysia. Mr. Saravanan Raman has extensive experience teaching a variety of marketing courses, including Principles of Marketing, Service Marketing, Branding, Marketing Communication, and Buyer Behaviour. His research interests lie in the areas of service marketing, particularly service trade-offs, and service dimensions. Before transitioning to academia, he accumulated 15 years of industry experience. Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys fitness.

Mr. Saravanan Raman obtained his MSc Business Analysis and Consulting from the University of Strathclyde, UK and MBA from University Utara Malaysia. He is also an HRDF certified Trainer. He has around 15 years of managerial experience in the service industry which provides a strong foundation for him to understand various problems that arise in the service organization. He worked locally and globally in the manufacturing and service sectors.
