You must inform UOW Malaysia of your arrival details AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE. UOW Malaysia staff will assist you to get the immigration clearance at the airport. Failure to inform UOW Malaysia KDU less than 5 working days, a penalty of RM100 will be imposed. GEORGE TOWN & BATU KAWAN CAMPUS All international students are advisable to arrive directly at Penang International Airport. RM800 is chargeable if flight transit at any other airport in Malaysia before arriving in Penang International Airport. 1 Step 1 Report at International Office To report at International Office, UOW Malaysia within 3 days upon arrival. 2 Step 2 Get Student ID To pay balance of fees & get Student ID at Admission & Bursary Office. 3 Step 3 Arrange for Medical Examination To arrange for medical examination at EMGS approved panel clinics within 7 days upon arrival in Malaysia. 4 Step 4 Submit Passport Submit passport to the International Office after medical screening for endorsement of student pass.
